Aluminum, Magnesium, Zinc and Lead Foundries
Our AMZL Release Agents use Hexagonal Boron Nitride powder as a key ingredient for utmost efficiency and can be formulated with Water, Oil or Ethanol. Due to the unique lubricating properties and inertness to molten metals and salts the Boron Nitride powder is ideally suited as a mold and die release agent for high temperature paints and coatings. We optimized our AMZL line of Release Agents to perform most efficiently in the tough conditions of Aluminum, Magnesium, Zinc and Lead foundry applications.

Automotive
From paint coatings to various metal applications, UK products serve a wide range of uses in the automotive industry. Our highly specialize Diamonizer line of lubricants is specifically formulated to quickly and permanently enhance performance of all 4-stroke internal combustion engines (gasoline, gas and diesel) after only one time application. Die and Mold Manufacturing
Wurtzite Boron Nitride with regular crystal shape particles is the perfect material for steel polishing applications, such as, molds, dies, etc. Hexagonal Boron Nitride powder has a structure and properties similar to graphite. It has become one of the most popular dry lubricants due to its lubricating properties and inertness to molten metals and salts. It is used in many different applications, especially as a mold release agent.

Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) Manufacturing
UK Abrasives is offering a full range of products to support GMR manufacturing.
  • Our Diamond Powder is specifically developed using a shaping process allows the maximum performance of diamond particles in abrading and charging operations. Its low ionic content minimizes PTC (Pole Tip Corrosion).
  • We have also developed numerous formulations of Lubricants for Mass Data Storage Industry applications. Every effort has been made by our in-house experts to use the latest developments in chemistry to formulate different kinds of liquid lubricants to enhance performance of "Kiss Lap" and "Crown Lap" operations.
  • Our Diamond Slurries are efficient liquid carriers developed to optimize the performance of Diamond Powders.
  • UK's Cleaning Fuilds are ideal for removing the Diamond Slurry and Lubricants used during GMR head processing operations. Pitting, staining or corrosion will occur if any processing film or lap plate residue are left on the GMR head.
